Britney Spears Out and About

With all eyes on Paris Hilton being released from jail, it would seem that Monday was the perfect opportunity for Brit and her pals (cousin Alli included, of course) to hit the town. But when she arrived at Joseph’s Club at around midnight, she was barely recognizable. Dressed in all black and wearing a dark wig under a newsboy hat, Britney looked more high school goth than international popstar.

Sitting at a corner table near the dance floor, Brit talked to her friends, but didn’t appear to be moved by the music…perhaps she was waiting for a Morrissey track? She later got up and browsed through the DJ’s selections, requested a few songs, and dance-walked her way back to her seat. Though she cracked a few smiles, Brit was definitely her party’s pooper, finding her coke drink more entertaining than anything around her.

After leaving Joseph’s at 1:28 a.m., the gang went to a Carl’s Jr. drive-through for some late night snacks. There, the paparazzi who followed were treated to Brit’s version of ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s recent table-turning photography, though this time, no one was called an a-hole. We guess there was something cheery about Britney’s night after all!

Hilton Released from Jail

Socialite Paris Hilton has been released from prison after serving 23 days of her 45-day sentence. The hotel heiress was sentenced to 45 days in prison last month after being found guilty of violating her probation from a drunk driving arrest last year. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputy Dana Camarillo agreed to the star's early release from Lynwood California's Century Regional Detention Center for good behavior.

The 26-year-old was met by waiting paparazzi as she left the prison at 12:15am on Tuesday. The star will give her first live interview following her release from prison to talk show host Larry King.

Paris Hilton "Sick" of Prison Orange

Paris Hilton can't wait to be released from jail, so she can ditch her orange prison jumpsuit, her mother has revealed. Kathy Hilton visited the socialite at Lynwood California's Century Regional Detention Center on Saturday and claimed the 25-year-old is "very, very excited to see the family."

She added, "Paris is doing really well, she is really looking forward to going home, and she thanks you in the press who supported her. She wants to be with the family and she can't wait to take that orange suit off. She's sick of orange, but her health is good. She looks like Paris." Hilton will be released from the prison on Tuesday after serving 23 days of a 45-day sentence for violating probation by driving with a suspended license.

Larry King Lands First Hilton Interview

Incarcerated Paris Hilton will give her first live interview following her release from prison on Tuesday to talk show host Larry King. The socialite will appear on CNN show Larry King Live to give a one hour talk on her experiences in prison. And the hotel heiress is thrilled she will be giving the interview to the award-winning American broadcaster.

She says, "I am thrilled that Larry King has asked me to appear on his program to discuss my experience in jail, what I have learned, how I have grown and anything else he wants to talk about. Larry King is not only a world-renown journalist, but a true American icon. It will be an honor to do his show."
